Donna Hover is President and CEO of IBD Corporation specializing in developing growth strategies in product and technology development, and execution of those strategies since 1987. Our success began in the automotive industry where Ms. Hover is a successful international automotive professional executive in strategic planning and product development. Since 2000 we have expanded into other growth areas of commercial construction, financial institutions, law firms, consulting firms, accounting firms, and various other industies. IBD has over 30 years of developing problem solution tools for companies with revenue between $15.0 to $800.0 million. We lead teams through strategic change while promoting commitment and ownership for new strategies and processes.
Ms. Hover is founder and past-Chairperson of what is now the Original Equipment Suppliers Association. The Association had over 700 CEO members, who met 8 times per year to develop strategic understanding of the auto industry necessary to make better business decision. Over the 15 year period when the organization was run by Ms. Hover it represented over 1200 executive members from 400 different manufacturing companies in 12 different countries. Most were family owned or with private equity participation.
Ms. Hover obtained her Doctorate in Leadership Management from Michigan State University. She received her Master Degree in Management, Organizational Behavior from Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI and a dual Bachelors degree in Communication and Business from Michigan State University. She is an adjunct professor at Grand Valley State University and Davenport University teaching senior level management courses.
Ms. Hover is recognized by the auto industry as one of the “Leading Women in the North American Automotive Industry”, nominated to the N.A. Automotive Hall of Fame, and “Top 25 Women Business Owners in Michigan”. Ms. Hover has been a frequent speaker throughout the North America and European communities speaking to the state of the automotive industry. She also served on country specific advisory boards to consolidate EU and N.A. automotive supply base.
